Reset Siri voice control in Hue Bridge

By resetting Siri voice control your Hue bridge will be unpaired from HomeKit, allowing you to pair again afterwards. Until you perform the setup again, your Hue lights will no longer work with Siri voice control. We want to remind you that this will not affect other configurations you made in your Hue System.

Once you have reset Siri voice control, you need to pair your bridge to your HomeKit configuration again. In order to do this, your HomeKit configuration needs to be cleared first. How to perform this step depends on the configuration that you have:

A) In case you also have other HomeKit accessories (e.g. Door locks, Wall outlet plug in unites, etc.) in your home, other than Hue, please use the 3rd party HomeKit app to remove the Hue bridge from your HomeKit configuration
B) In case you only have Hue working with HomeKit, you need to delete the HomeKit configuration on your iOS device. In your iOS settings go to: ‘Settings’ > ‘HomeKit > ‘Edit’. Select your home and remove it. You can set it up again by following the steps in the Philips Hue app.

To have your lights respond to Siri again, open the Hue app and follow the instructions (‘Settings’ > ‘Siri voice control’).

Please note: Only reset Siri voice control in case your Hue app shows the message "Another user already paired the HomeKit enabled bridge" but you are actually the only user. If bridge was already paired with another user, please ask the user to share his / her home kit settings in order for you to start using Siri voice control.

* Please ensure that the bridge is updated to the most recent software version *
