Thank you all for applying for our new Philips Hue app beta program. For the lucky ones, you will receive an email to confirm you have been selected.
If you are not selected, do not worry. The app will be available to everyone in due time. We will keep you posted through our social channels.
We're partnering with Centercode, a beta test management company, to run this test. Centercode is handling the sign up, selection, and communication in their beta testing portal known as Betabound. To become a candidate for the beta test, you will need to sign up and apply on the Betabound platform. If you are selected, you will receive further instructions from Betabound.
In order to apply, you will be expected to create an account in Betabound and complete the sign-up process. This should take no more than 10-15 minutes.

We are only selecting a small number of people to try the app. We have a different set of criteria to have a representative user pool. You will get a questionnaire when you sign up. Don’t worry if you do not fit the criteria at the moment. The app will become available to everyone in due time.
Both apps can be used in parallel. When you have used the Philips Hue app to set up Hue tap or Hue dimmer switch, they will continue to work as they did. If you wish to configure Hue tap or Hue dimmer switch using the beta app, this will overwrite the current settings you made with the Philips Hue app.
